Summary:

Working alongside a team of skilled property accounting professionals, you will be a key part of the property management accounting function, specifically focused on supporting the accounting month-end responsibilities and a broad range of financial administration responsibilities in ensuring integrity, accuracy, and completeness of month-end and reporting period-end close processes.

In this diverse role, your responsibilities will include:

  • Responsible for general ledger (GL) balance sheet reconciliation and the substantiation process in accordance with company policies.
  • Purchase order preparation including but not limited to management fees, leasing fees, payroll recharges, and statutory outgoings.
  • Journal preparation and posting including but not limited to prepayments, expense, and income accrual.
  • Responsible for updating the leasing CAPEX register and posting amortization journals.
  • Manage GL allocation process including but not limited to owner and tenant marketing contribution, and marketing GST sweep.
  • Responsible for monthly GST reconciliation and investigating variances as required.
  • Weekly cash book reporting and owner transfer set-up.
  • Corporate credit card management and cost recovery process.
  • Reconciliation of rechargeable income and expenses
  • Upload utilities Sundry Charges and preparation of billing supporting documents (Electricity invoicing process).
  • Upload other ad hoc sundry charges.
  • Process corporate recharges into the Dynamic 365 system.

Qualifications & Experience:

  • 2 years’ experience in a similar role
  • Studying towards CA/CPA qualification or equivalent is advantageous
  • Communicating with property accountants and center management team members to resolve issues, and deliver on deadlines
  • Proficient in MS Office suite of products including intermediate to advanced Excel skills (lookups)
  • Experience using large ERP systems

  • Analytical and problem-solving skills, ability to delve deeper into challenging tasks such as investigating and reconciling account discrepancies.
  • Strong organization skills and ability to prioritize and self-manage to meet deadlines
